What if I’m in a crisis?

If you or someone you know is in a psychiatric crisis, please see below for some resources:

Do you provide in-person sessions?

We are a telehealth practice and do not provide any in-person sessions.

In what states does the center offer care?

We currently offer care in the below states.

  • New York

  • New Jersey

What if you don’t offer a service in my state of residence or state of work?

Unfortunately, we would not be able to provide you with therapeutic services outside of these jurisdictions.

Do you offer trauma coaching services?

We do not. This is a psychotherapy practice, which employs trained clinicians (i.e., counselors, psychologists, social workers), some of whom hold licensure in their respective areas of training.

Do you offer sliding scale?

We do offer sliding scale options. Upon request, an application for consideration can be made available to you.

Do you take insurance?

We are currently only self-pay. Your insurance provider may cover out-of-network benefits to cover some of our fee and we can help you with a good faith estimate to determine what your out-of-pocket cost will be. We have more information on out-of-network benefits here.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

The Federal No Surprises Act protects you from surprise medical bills and makes it easier for you to understand the costs of health care services before you get a service. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of our services. We are happy to provide that to you prior to commencing your treatment at this center.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. This is a standard of practice and, in fairness, is set in place for every client in our practice. Any sessions that are missed and/or not canceled within the 24-hour window will be charged an $85 cancellation fee. To maintain fairness across our practice, no exceptions will be made to this policy.
